Frequently asked questions — Airtm US Virtual Account

Modified on Tue, 12 May at 8:30 PM

Can I receive funds from bank accounts outside the US?

No. The US Virtual Account only accepts ACH and Wire transfers from bank accounts within the United States.

Does the US Virtual Account have a SWIFT code?

No. The US Virtual Account does not currently support SWIFT payments.

What happens if the sender enters my banking details incorrectly?

If the details are wrong — such as the account number or ABA routing number — the transfer will be rejected and returned to the sender. Always double-check your details before sharing them.

I didn't receive my transfer within the expected timeframe. What do I do?

  1. Confirm with the sender that the banking details they used were correct.
  2. Check that the estimated time has passed (ACH: 1–5 business days; Wire: 1 business day).
  3. If everything looks right and the funds still haven't arrived, contact us at support@airtm.com with the transfer details.

Is there a maximum amount I can receive in my US Virtual Account?

It depends on the transfer type and who's sending:

  • ACH from your own US bank account: up to $100,000 USD per transfer
  • ACH from a third party: up to $2,000 USD per transfer
  • Wire: up to $100,000 USD per transfer (minimum $1,501 USD)

My deposit shows as "Under Review". What does it mean and how long will it take?

Some ACH or Wire deposits go through a compliance review before being credited to your balance. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with your transfer.

Estimated review times are:

  • ACH: up to 5 additional business days from the date of submission
  • Wire: up to 2 additional business days from the date of submission

If your deposit has been under review for longer than indicated, contact us at support@airtm.com with your transfer receipt and include: amount, submission date, transfer type (ACH or Wire), and the name of the sending bank.
