Peer-to-peer transfers are requests from other users that you can accept to complete their transaction. In exchange for your service, you'll receive favorable rates that reduce the cost of moving funds to and from your available balance.
How this transaction type is displayed
Transactions are described from the perspective of the requesting user. An add funds request appears with the WITHDRAWAL label in your advanced board, because completing it will decrease your USDC balance and increase the funds in the user's chosen payment method.
Step by step
- Log in to your Airtm account.
- Click "Accept requests" in the left panel.
- Accept an available request by clicking "Select".
- Wait for your peer to confirm the transfer of funds to your bank account or external processor.
- Verify that the full amount has been received in your external processor before continuing.
- Confirm receipt. This action completes the operation and the USDC are credited to the requesting user.
- Rate your peer. The rating is final and cannot be changed.
Special considerations
- Only accept this type of transaction if you are online and can monitor it in real time.
- Never confirm receipt without first verifying that the funds arrived correctly in your account.
