QR Payments is an Airtm feature that lets you pay with your balance directly at local merchants and services using a QR code. It's available in Argentina, Bolivia, and Brazil — in Brazil you can also pay using Pix.
Do I need to be Argentine, Bolivian, or Brazilian to use it?
No. The feature is available to all Airtm users. If you're in one of these countries, you can pay like a local with no issues.
Do I need to be physically in the country to make a QR payment?
No. You don't need to be in the country — but you do need to scan a valid QR code from the corresponding country to complete the payment.
Does my account need to be verified?
Yes. To access the payment limits available in each country, your Airtm account must be 100% verified.
Is it available 24/7?
Yes, like all payment methods on Airtm, QR Payments is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
