Quality Rules for Cashiers

Airtm's Quality program constantly evaluates multiple performance variables and compares cashiers against others with the same experience level.

The evaluation is continuous and based on recent operations. Even with many completed transactions and a good historical rating, the system may detect that your recent performance has been affected. In that case, you'll receive warnings and recommendations for improvement.

Quality is one of Airtm's core values. Only cashiers who meet the required standards will be able to continue accepting peer requests on the platform.

Variables evaluated

  • Rating received: the rating you receive on completed transactions.
  • Number of canceled transactions: when the cancellation is initiated by the cashier.
  • Discrimination and offenses: when they come from the cashier.
  • Payments from third-party accounts: when the cashier uses third-party accounts to send payments.
  • Changes in the internal conditions of the transaction: when the cashier proposes using a different payment method, commission, or exchange rate.
  • Sharing or requesting personal information: when the cashier provides or requests personal data.
  • Average mediations lost: when the cashier loses mediations.
  • Confirmation or completion time: when the cashier is slow in confirming the transfer or receipt of funds.

About ratings

Only ratings from completed transactions are considered. Ratings from failed transactions — where the counterparty may have been absent or didn't know how to proceed — are not taken into account.

About cancellations

Only cancellations you initiated are counted. Accept a transaction only when you're certain you can complete it. If the customer doesn't respond, use the chat and wait — if they don't complete the payment within the time allowed, the transaction will cancel automatically. Your goal should always be to complete every transaction you accept.

About discrimination, third-party payments, and personal information

Only infractions committed by the cashier are evaluated. If the requesting user is the one who violates the rules, contact us and we'll take the necessary action.

About confirmation times

The system measures the time from when the customer confirms payment to when the cashier confirms the transfer or receipt of funds. Avoid accepting multiple transactions if you can't complete them quickly, and make sure you have funds available before accepting peer withdrawal requests. Making payments from third-party bank or electronic accounts is prohibited.

About lost mediations

Only mediations resolved in the customer's favor are counted. A low number of losses means you're doing a great job.

The most common reason users rate their counterpart poorly is delays in completing transactions. Stay on top of our messages and recommendations. If you have questions or suggestions, contact us.
